Guwahati, Shillong and Cherrapunji Tour Itinerary
Day 1
The Guwahati Shillong Cherrapunji tour package begins with your arrival at the Guwahati station/airport. Meet your tour representative and get greeted. Get assisted with transfer to Shillong. The drive from Guwahati to Shillong takes around 3.5 hours through the scenic landscape.
On the way to Shillong, stop and stretch by the Barapani Lake. Surrounded by the beautiful Sylvan hills, it is the biggest artificial lake in the state of Meghalaya. Also known as the Umiam Lake, it is one of the most popular sites in Shillong.
On arrival in Shillong, check in at the hotel. The rest of the day is at your own leisure. You can take a stroll in your hotel premises and enjoy the scenic setting.

On the way come across several waterfalls, limestone caves, striking root bridges, and other natural sites to provide several activities. The tour itinerary includes visits to the Spectacular Seven Sisters Falls, the Mawsmai Cave and the Thangkharang Park.
In the evening, get on the road back to Shillong. On your way back, stop by the Elephant Falls and the famous Shillong Peak. Enjoy the blissful natural beauty of the mountains.
